Cost of Living
Canada is in a cost-of-living crisis, with food prices soaring, housing costs doubling, and everyday essentials out of reach. This has been exacerbated by the Liberal’s carbon tax and inflationary policies that have pushed Canadians into economic hardship.
The situation in Manitoba is dire. A new survey shows that almost half of Manitobans are $200 or less per month away from not being able to pay their bills or make debt payments, with almost 40% feeling worse off compared to last year. Since 2021, Manitoba has also seen a 68% increase in food bank usage. Last year alone, nearly 40% of food bank clients were children under 18 years old.
Instead of addressing rising costs, the Liberals solution was to make things even worse – continuing their inflationary spending and raising the carbon tax, making groceries, gas, and housing more expensive.
Conservatives will stop the inflationary spending, scrap the carbon tax once and for all, and bring home a massive tax cut to reduce the cost of living.
